Monday 19 June 2017 WALT retell a Maori Legend THE GIANT WETA OF THE RAIN FOREST Nika and Maria love to go swimming in the sea night. Maria went swimming in the sea and it started to rain... there was a big rumble. Nika woke up. When Nike went into the sea, Maria was gone! The giant WETA must’ve taken her to the rain forest said Nika. I must go to the rain forest’s deepest hole to kill the WETA. So Nika traveled to the rain forest and finally Nika got to the rain forest's deepest hole. He faist the WETA.One hour later... Nika won!. That's why we Ta's only come out in the rain.
